Congratulations to T. Robert Hart, who won the Southern Historical Association’s 2015 Jack Temple Kirby Award for his article “The Lowcountry Landscape: Politics, Preservation, and the Santee-Copper Project,” published in Environmental History 13.1 (Jan 2013). The Kirby Award is made every other year for the best article in Southern agricultural or environmental history from the prior two years.
